Environmental Law
Our Environmental Law Practice has a two fold focus. First it is dedicated to assisting and advising clients about regulatory compliance, going and staying green, and keeping them abreast of newly emerging laws. Our team works with clients to ensure that all the appropriate measures are taken to meet regulations and provide counsel and resources to solve existing issues.
Second, Corvisiero Law is a strong advoate for the preservation of our environment, animals and resources. Accordingly, we are what we call a "Green Leaf Business". This term means that our firm is one hundred percent dedicated to being an env ironmentally friendly business and strongly encourages and assists all clients to do the same.
Founder's Note
As a graduate of Pace University School of Law, a law school that is not only internationally recognized for its valuable contributions to the environmental cause, but a school that has also been consistently ranked among the top three law schools in the United States for its Environmental Law Program, I can tell you that I have been completely brain washed by their motto and teachings. Not that I was not a proud tree huger when I decided to attend my Alma mater already, but they certainly have instilled in me a stronger devotion to protecting our home planet.
Valuing and respecting our resources is the first step toward properly protecting them. We need to inform our selves as to the fragility of our ecosystem and be aware of the importance of our individual roles. We can not wait for things to change. Because they will not change by them selves. They need our commitment to do so. Change will not come from the government, or the institutions. It will come from us as individuals, and together we will make a difference. Yes, I know that this sounds like a cliche... and it is. It has become a cliche because it is said over and over again, and the reason for its continued use is that it is true. If you like cliches, here is another one...Team Work!! The strength of the masses will over come. If we each know the effects of our decisions and educate our selves with better options we will be able to do the right thing to preserve nature's balance.
The goal of the practice that I have initiated at Corvisiero Law with the "Green Leaf Business" strategy is not only to have a green leaf firm but to also promote the "Green Leaf Synergy" to our clients as individuals and as business managers.
