Alternate Dispute Resolution
Corvisiero Law is dedicated to obtaining resolutions for its clients. Usually all matters can be resolved by properly communicating one's view. However, sometimes issues escalate to the point where the parties need the assistance of a third party. To help our clients in such situations before they escalate to litigation and often in the place of expensive and extended litigation, we provide services in Mediation and Arbitration.
Mediation Alternate dispute resolution can take place in the form of mediation. This method provides the parties with a non confrontational forum to express their sides in the presense of an unbiased midiator, who assists each side clarify their positions and facilitates a process of compromise.
Arbitration Arbitration is a more binding method of dispute resolution that is often used in lieu of litigation. This process facilitates a less rigid and less structured forum for resolving conflicts between two parties. The issues and concerns of both parties are heard by an experienced and unbiased arbitrator, or a team of three arbitrators, who make a descision on how the matter should be resolved. The decision of the arbitrator/s is a binding decision that can be enforced in a court of law.
